About CUAC

The Consumer Utilities Advocacy Centre (CUAC) is a specialist consumer organisation established in 2002 to represent Victorian energy and water consumers in policy and regulatory processes.

CUAC represents all Victorian energy and water consumers, but has a particular focus on the needs of low-income, disadvantaged, rural and regional and indigenous consumers. Our work is guided by the principles of affordability, accessibility, fairness and empowerment through information and education.

CUAC has been contracted by the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources to develop this website and support implementation of the Department's Energy Information Fund.
