Want to help your community to save money on their energy bills? - Free training for the community workers
Concern over energy bills is one of the biggest issues faced by households. One simple way people can save is to change electricity companies. Recent research shows that:
- 95% of Victorians can save simply by changing electricity companies
- Households with typical electricity consumption can save up to $500 - $800 a year by switching from the worst to the best offer
CUAC's EnergyInfoHub is offering free training to the community sector so that you can support your communities to save money by finding better electricity deals.
The EnergyInfoHub specialises in delivering expert and easy to understand energy information. The training will show you how to use the Victorian Government’s My Power Planner website* to find and compare electricity offers and save money on electricity. After just 2 hours you will understand:
- how to read bills
- electricity prices
- how to save money by switching
- what makes a good deal
- how to get the best out of My Power Planner
Importantly, the training will give you the skills and confidence to assist your friends, family and community to find the better electricity deals.
