Save Money on Energy Bills - Free Training for Community Workers

Concern over energy bills is one of the biggest issues faced by households.  A simple and effective way to save is to switch to a cheaper energy offer.  Recent research shows that 91% of people can save by shopping for a cheaper energy offer.

Learn how you can find better energy offers and support your community to save money at our free community worker training.

The training is run by the Consumer Utilities Advocacy Centre’s EnergyInfoHub, which specialises in delivering independent, expert and easy to understand energy information.

The training shows participants how to use the Victorian Energy Compare website to find and compare energy offers and save money.

In just 2 hours you will understand:

  • how to read bills
  • electricity pricing
  • how to save money by switching
  • what makes a good offer
  • how to get the best out of the Victorian Government's independent Victorian Energy Compare website

Importantly, the hands-on training will give you the skill and confidence to assist your friends, family and community to find better energy offers and save.
