Energy - Did you know?

This teaching resource aims to reach CALD communities from all backgrounds through engaging them in their English lessons. The teaching resource comprises three units:

  • Unit 1 - electricity in the home
  • Unit 2 - electricity bills
  • Unit 3 - reducing electricity costs

This resource is mapped to ACSF levels and is suitable to support teaching of Certificates in EAL I-III (Access) and other accredited or preaccredited language and literacy programs. This resource has been designed for adults who have beginners to intermediate English levels ACSF1 to ACSF3.

The Yarraville Community Centre has produced this teaching resource as part of their EIF project, Energy - Did you know?
