Participant Workbook - Energy Hardship Workshop for Community Workers

The Switched On Agencies project has developed a workbook, and accompanying training workshop, to support community workers better assist people experiencing difficulty paying their bills.  The workbook looks at:

  • Reading and understanding bills
  • Government concessions and grants
  • Rights and responsibilities
  • Hardship Program Support
  • Exploring a client’s situation
  • Complaint procedures
  • Energy efficiency and energy audits

The workbook was produced as part of the Switched On Agencies EIF project between Community Information & Support Victoria (CISVic), Financial & Consumer Rights Council (FCRC) and Kildonan.
